At the start of Covid-19 quarantine I wanted to challenge myself to learn something new so I took a course from Udemy on "Digital Painting." My background in art helped serve as my foundation knowledge as I continue to explore this method of art making. Learning digital rendering has also improved my textile design skills (See Below) and I thoroughly enjoy how sustainable the practice is with less materials, the ability to improve imperfections, freedom to work anywhere/anytime, and less material consumption.

For my paintings I like to render landscapes, still life objects, and portraits (especially LGBTQIA+). I love offering the final portrait to the person it was based on as a gift. I find painting people to be challenging and also rewarding.
